Love is in the Air at Westport Animal Control (WestportNow)
A love connection was made this week at Westport Animal Control with the help of matchmaker Animal Control Officer Peter D’Amico (r). Emmie, a puggle, found a loving home after being abandoned in Westport. Emmie was one of two adoptions of abandoned dogs this week.

The Loving Heart Hospice Foundation will host a 5/10K Love Walk Sat., July 4 at Tierra Rejada Park, 11900 Mountain Trail Drive, Moorpark. Registration begins at 7 a.m. The 10K walk begins at 7:30 a.m.; the 5K at 7:45 a.m.. Registration is $30. Children and dogs may walk for free.
